Fabrice Langrognet
Non-Resident Fellow
Fabrice Langrognet is a non-resident fellow with the Global Public Policy Institute (GPPi). From 2014 to 2019, he conducted a PhD in Migration Studies at the University of Cambridge, where he was a Gates Cambridge Scholar. His doctoral studies focused on the daily life of working-class migrants in the Paris area at the beginning of the 20th century. At master’s level, he studied immigration in the United States at the École des hautes études en sciences sociales in Paris.
Fabrice is also a career government official in France. After graduating from the École normale supérieure, Sciences-Po and ÉNA, he served for almost five years as a judge in the administrative branch of the French judiciary. He specialized in immigration and asylum cases, a field he had previously discovered as a volunteer in a French NGO. In addition, he served as a speechwriter for the President of the French Republic, and as a member of the editorial board of international affairs newsmagazine La Revue. Fabrice has also taught for several years at Sciences-Po and École normale supérieure.
