Ana Paula Livia Sapozhnicova


Ana Paula Livia Sapozhnicova is an intern at the Global Public Policy Institute (GPPi) in Berlin, where she supports the institute’s work on global order. Her areas of interest include Russian foreign policy, geopolitics and the intersection between security and global governance.

Ana Paula recently completed a master’s degree in global cooperation and security at the University of Birmingham, where she specialized in conflict management. She holds a bachelor’s degree in international relations from Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola in Peru, for which she completed one year of study at Copenhagen Business School in Denmark. 

Previously, Ana Paula worked in the Peruvian public sector as a technical cooperation analyst for the National Institute for Research on Glaciers and Mountain Ecosystems and as an international relations assistant for the National Council of Science, Technology and Technological Innovation. In addition, she volunteered as a liaison officer for the Russian delegation at the Asian-Pacific Economic Cooperation meetings hosted in Lima, Peru in 2016.
