Nerges Azizi is an intern with the Global Public Policy Institute (GPPi) in Berlin, where she supports the institute’s work on humanitarian reform and humanitarian access. Her research interests include refugee and human rights protection in relation to transnational advocacy networks and humanitarian action.
Currently, Nerges studies politics and social sciences as part of a joint bachelor’s program at Sciences Po Paris and Freie Universität Berlin. During her studies, she has worked as a translator in refugee camps, as a translator of literary works by refugees for the International Literature Festival in Berlin, as a tandem partner for Start with a Friend (Swaf), and as ambassador of the German National Academic Foundation.
She was recently awarded by the Franco-German University and Embassies for her engagement on the integration of refugees. Her studies have been supported by the German National Academic Foundation and the Franco-German University.
