Christoph Reinicke is an intern with the Global Public Policy Institute (GPPi) in Berlin, where he contributes to the institute’s work on rising powers and global governance. He currently studies human geography and philosophy at the University College Roosevelt in Middelburg, the Netherlands. His interests lie mainly in sustainable development and climate change mitigation and adaptation.
Before joining GPPi, Christoph worked as a snowboard instructor in Colorado for the 2015-2016 winter season, in addition to learning about the effects of climate change on the winter sports community through the climate advocacy group Protect Our Winters. Prior to that, he spent two months in Vietnam with Helping Hands, part of the Vietnam International Volunteer Placement Service. As a volunteer he taught English at a local primary school and helped at the Ba Vi Disability Center.
