Christine Galvagna is the German Chancellor Fellow at the Global Public Policy Institute (GPPi) in Berlin. In that capacity, she researches international human rights issues in relation to technology policy.
Prior to joining GPPi, Christine was the international human rights legal fellow at the Center for Democracy and Technology in Washington, DC, where she advocated for stronger privacy protection in European and US state surveillance practices. Her pro bono projects concern human trafficking and fair trials. Moreover, as a member of the New York State Bar Association, she serves on the association’s committees on technology and the legal profession, media law, and federal legislative priorities.
Christine holds a juris doctor from the George Washington University Law School in Washington, DC.
