Anant Kapoor is an intern with the Global Public Policy Institute (GPPi) in Berlin, where he supports the institute’s work on peace and security. His research interests include India’s foreign and security policy, and Indian politics. He is also interested in the issues of food and energy security, and closely follows developments in the areas of commodity trade and climate change.
Anant is pursuing a bachelor's degree in business management at Singapore Management University, majoring in finance and political science. He studied at Sciences Po Paris as an exchange student.
Previously, Anant interned with the European Union Delegation to Singapore in the political, press, and information section, where he worked on political reports and engagement with stakeholders in Singapore. He has also interned with The Cohen Group, where he used his knowledge of South Asia to provide research support on political and regulatory risks, economic trends, and business intelligence. Particularly, he focused on the aerospace and defense, oil and gas, and information technology industries.
