Panel discussion on think tanks in the US and Germany
GPPi Associate Director Thorsten Benner will moderate a debate on think tanks and political consulting in the <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />US and Germany. The discussion will take place on June 26 (4-6pm) in Berlin. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
Panelists include Pia Bungarten (Director, Division for International Dialogue, Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung), Heinrich Kreft (Deputy Head of the Policy Planning Staff, German Foreign Office), and Volker Perthes (designated director of the Stiftung Wissenschaft und Politik/SWP).
The event is part of the annual Berlin conference of the McCloy Academic Scholarship Program.
