Kemal Dervis, GPPi board member and head of UNDP, makes first official visit to Germany
On February 6-7, 2006, Kemal Dervis, head of the United Nations Development Programme and a GPPi advisory board member, makes his first official visit to Germany. Dervis was appointed as head of the UNDP in August 2005; this position is the third highest in the United Nations.
The United Nations Association of Germany (DGVN) is sponsoring a public discussion with Kemal Dervis on February 6 at 6pm in Berlin on how to strengthen the United Nations and make it more effective. In order to sign up please return this fax form to the DGVN.
