John Ruggie to give talk on "A Requiem for Liberal Internationalism?" in Berlin
The Hertie School of Governance will be hosting Professor John Ruggie, Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University and UN Special Representative on the issue of human rights and transnational corporations and other business enterprises for an evening lecture:
"A Requiem for Liberal Internationalism?"
The event will take place on Monday, August 28, 2006 at 7pm at the Hertie School of Governance Campus, Schloßplatz 1, 10178 Berlin-Mitte
Professor Ruggie, who earlier in the day will be teaching at the Hertie School Executive Seminar on ‘Global Public Policy’, which is directed by Wolfgang Reinicke and Thorsten Benner of GPPi, brings a broad academic background coupled with distinguished experience as a practitioner for what will prove to be a provocative presentation.
