GPPi welcomes new team member
Stephan Mergenthaler has joined GPPi as a part-time research associate. He will assist with the two-year DSF funded project "Learning to Build Peace".
His research interests focus on international security, international organizations, European foreign policy and the politics of East Asia. His work experience, among others, includes work with the International Institute for Strategies Studies in London, the American Enterprise Institute for Public Policy Research in Washington D. C., the South Asia Human Rights Documentation Center in New Delhi, the German and French Ministries for Foreign Affairs in Berlin and Paris, and the German Mission to the UN in New York.
Stephan holds an M.Sc. (Practice of International Affairs) from the London School of Economics and a Master in International Affairs from the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris (Sciences Po). He is currently a PhD Candidate in International Politics at the Berlin Graduate School of Social Sciences, Humboldt University Berlin.
