GPPi to serve on technical advisory panel of the World Bank Independent Evaluation Group (IEG)
GPPiC Managing Director Markus Palenberg will serve on an IEG technical advisory panel in relation to IEG’s ongoing work on developing consensus standards for evaluating global and regional partnership programs (GRPPs).
IEG has prepared a Sourcebook of Indicative Principles and Standards for Evaluating GRPPs under the auspices of the OECD/DAC Network on Development Evaluation that was published in January 2007. IEG has now agreed with the DAC Evaluation Network to continue playing a leading role in the production of a second document of Good Practice Guidelines and Examples in Evaluating GRPPs.
In continuation of our involvment with this process, GPPi has been invited to join the technical advisory panel that will provide strategic advice to the IEG team and will review materials the IEG team produces.
