GPPi to present at Bucerius Summer School on Global Governance
GPPi has developed a teaching case for the 2006 Bucerius Summer School on Global Governance organized by the ZEIT Foundation Ebelin, Gerd Bucerius and the Heinz Nixdorf Foundation. The teaching case, entitled "The Global Relocation Game: A German Company between China and India" focuses on the economic, social and political factors according to which companies decide on where to relocate (parts of) their production.
The Bucerius Summer School on Global Governance is a two-week seminar bringing together 50 young professionals from governments, international organizations, NGOs, and business. Its overall aim is to foster leadership qualities by promoting a cross-border dialogue on current political, economic, social and legal questions. This year´s Bucerius Summer School on Global Governance will take place in Hamburg, Paderborn and Berlin from August 13 to August 27.
GPPi's Sergey Lagodinsky and Thorsten Benner will teach the case in Hamburg on August 22.
