GPPi to host discussion with Mary Robinson
GPPi, in cooperation with the Hertie School of Governance, will host Mary Robinson for an evening lecture and discussion on "Realizing Rights: New Alliances for Human Rights, Development and Migration." The event will take place on 31 August 2006 in Berlin.
Mary Robinson is currently President of Realizing Rights: The Ethical Globalization Initiative (RR). Prior to founding RR, she served as UN High Commissioner for Human Rights from 1997 to 2002 and as President of Ireland from 1990 to 1997. She is also Honorary Chair of the Business Leaders Initiative for Human Rights and a Member of the Advisory Board of GPPi.
