GPPi Research Associate awarded fellowships at Harvard University
GPPi Research Associate Philipp Rotmann received a two-year McCloy fellowship for study at the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. For the same purpose, he was also awarded a Charles W. Holtzer Fellowship by Harvard University upon nomination by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).
During his time at the Harvard Kennedy School, he will complete a two-year Master of Public Administration (MPA) program starting in September 2008. Rotmann will continue to be part of GPPi's work on the United Nations and peace operations as a GPPi Fellow.
The McCloy Academic Scholarship Program is administered by the German National Academic Foundation. It is funded by Harvard University; the McCloy Scholarship Foundation in the Donors’ Association for the Promotion of Sciences and Humanities in Germany; the Federal Ministry of Economics as the trustee of ERP special assets; the Haniel Foundation; and the McCloy Alumni Fund.
