GPPi publishes article on multinational corporations in developing countries
GPPi Associate Directors Thorsten Benner and Jan Martin Witte published an article on the rules for multinational corporations operating in developing countries and the future of CSR in the September issue of Internationale Politik, the journal of the German Council on Foreign Relations. The article argues that the current à la carte approach to Corporate Social Responsibility is not sustainable since it lacks credibility. Instead, the article argues for a multidimensional approach combining binding rules on corporate conduct with voluntary initiatives.
