GPPi publishes article on “Cows to Kilowatts”, a case study on successful technology transfer
GPPi Project Manager Julia Steets contributed a case study entitled “Climate Change: From Cows to Kilowatts – A Case Study in Successful Technology Transfer”, to the Magazine of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), a specialized agency of the United Nations dedicated to developing a balanced and accessible international intellectual property system.
Launched today, the article presents practical steps for companies to reduce their carbon footprint. Julia's contribution focuses on “Cows to Kilowatts”, a Nigerian partnership which transforms slaughterhouse waste into cooking gas. The partnership was also a winner of the 2005 Seed Awards.
