GPPi presents at CEO Talk organized by Bertelsmann Foundation

GPPi Associate Director Thorsten Benner presented at the Second Annual CEO Talk organized by the Bertelsmann Foundation’s International Network Corporate Culture on 29 November 2006 in Berlin. The theme of the event was "Global Business – Local Responsibility – Leadership in Partnership".

 

The discussion brought together members of the board from the companies participating in the network: Bertelsmann AG, BMW Group, B. Braun, Henkel KGaA, Hilti Aktiengesellschaft, ING NV, Lufthansa AG, Novartis International AG, Novo Nordisk SA and Unilever NV. Thorsten Benner’s presentation ("Vaterlandslose Gesellen oder verantwortliche Citoyens? Global Player zwischen Heimataland und Weltmarkt") focused on the question of under what conditions global players are regarded as responsible "corporate citizens" in their home countries while being successful on the world market.
