Hertie School Executive Education Seminar now open for registration
Continuing GPPi’s cooperation with the Hertie School of Governance on Executive Education Seminars, GPPi will contribute to the next seminar on global public policy. The three day seminar, entitled “Globalization: Economic and Political Challenges and Chances” will take place in Berlin from 9-11 June 2008. Co-chairing the event will be Professor Henrik Enderlein, Associate Dean of the Hertie School of Governance, and GPPi Associate Director Thorsten Benner. Confirmed speakers include Inge Kaul, Hertie School of Governance and former director of UNDP’s Office of Development Studies; Birgit Errath , the United Nations Global Compact Office; and Christina Schrade, the Global Fund to Fight Aids, Tuberculosis and Malaria.
The Executive Education Seminar brings together participants from the public, private and non-profit sectors. The seminar combines conceptual work with work on specifically tailored case studies drawn from areas of global finance, global health, and sustainable development. It equips participants with a conceptual and practical roadmap for operating in the new global governance environment; be it in companies, international organizations, or national agencies.
