GPPi Consulting tasked to develop Monitoring and Evaluation framework for new UN OCHA program
The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UN OCHA) has tasked GPPi Consulting to develop and implement a full-fledged monitoring and evaluation framework for the Gender Capacity Stand-by Project (GenCap).
The goal of the GenCap project is to educate and deploy a group of gender advisers that can assist UN agencies in emergencies. The gender advisers will have a common understanding of, and ability to undertake, gender equality programming in humanitarian settings, working jointly to measure and report on how the full implementation of a gender equality programme makes a difference to women, girls, boys and men caught up in crisis.
The monitoring and evaluation framework will be designed to assist UN OCHA in measuring the effectiveness, relevance and impact of the gender advisers.
For more information about the project, please contact Jan Martin Witte.
