GPPi celebrates New Year, plans move
GPPi celebrated its annual February New Year’s party on February 17th, 2006. Held in the Palais am Festungsgraben, the party was sponsored by the Global Public Policy Institute and neighboring civil society organizations, including the Deutsch-Brasilianische Gesellschaft, Earth3000, Gesellschaft für bedrohte Völker, and People and Nature / shangri-la design.
Over 100 guests attended, coming from such institutions as the German Foreign Office, the Hertie School of Governance, the German Institute for International and Security Affairs, University of Bremen, and the German Marshall Fund of the United States.
This will be the last year that the GPPi participates in the annual event. Because of growing demand for its services, and subsequent need for space, GPPi is happy to announce that it will be moving its offices in the beginning of March from the Palais am Festungsgraben to Reinhartstr. 15, near the Friedrichstrasse train station.
