Consulting
GPPi offers consulting services for clients from the public and private sectors. Our consulting work builds on the institute’s research expertise, translating our knowledge into strategies and solutions for our clients. Our services include commissioned studies, training programs as well as strategy development and evaluation projects aiming at improving the governance and impact of development and humanitarian programs. In providing our services, we leverage our strong working relationships with many key international players.
Previous and current clients include the World Bank, the German Federal Ministry for Economic Development and Cooperation (BMZ), the Swiss Agency for Development Cooperation (SDC), the UN Environment Programme (UNEP), the UN Global Compact, the International Labor Organization, and the World Bank. In line with the institute's non-profit character, we reinvest all profits from our consulting projects into the research activities of the Global Public Policy Institute.
Focus of our work
Our consulting activities build on the institute’s research experience on key public policy and governance issues, in particular regarding innovation in international development and humanitarian action. In that context, GPPi has long-standing experience in providing consulting services focusing for example on the design, governance and evaluation of multi-stakeholder partnerships, the evaluation of humanitarian assistance programs, and strategic implications of the rise of new public and private donors for the international aid architecture.
