Lauren Kelly

Lauren A. Kelly is a development evaluation specialist with over six years of experience in the World Bank’s Operation Evaluation Department. In collaboration with the GPPI, she led a UNDGO Review of Joint Programming across fifteen countries that was presented to the Executive Boards of UNICEF and UNDP/UNFPA/UNOPS at their Annual Session in June 2006.

Lauren has extensive expertise in global public partnership and programme evaluation. Her work spans several development sectors, including international environment, water, agriculture, energy and child labor. Based in Washington D.C., Lauren has traveled extensively, having studied and worked under various arrangements, including for the European Parliament in Belgium and France, as well as in Italy, Germany, the Balkans, North Africa and Latin America. Lauren studied development economics and international conflict management at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) where she received her MA. She earned a BA in Political Science from the University of Rochester, and a certificate in International Relations from the Universite Libre de Bruxelles. Lauren has also worked as a legislative aide in the United States Congress.
