Kelly Johnson
Kelly Johnson is a Research Associate with the Global Public Policy Institute, Berlin. Her research interests are disaster response and preparedness, post-conflict reconstruction and global governance. At GPPi Kelly supports the European Commission funded project entitled "Raising the Bar: Towards enhanced cooperation and coherence in transatlantic governance of natural disaster relief and preparedness."
Prior to working with GPPi, Kelly worked as an independent consultant to the Fragile States Unit of the World Bank where she focused on post-conflict and disaster response programs. Kelly has also worked previously with Mennonite Economic Development Associates in Tanzania and as a Development Assurance Project Coordinator with Shell Canada. She also volunteered for the Youth Challenge International Challenger Leadership Practicum in Vanuatu (2002). Kelly holds a B.A (Honors) in Development and Political Theory from Queen's University and an MSc in Development Management from the London School of Economics.
