Zhi Chen

Zhi Chen was an intern with the Global Public Policy Institute (GPPi) in Berlin from October to December 2011. He worked for the Rising Powers and Global Governance program.

Zhi Chen is currently pursuing a master's in public policy at Cornell University. He is a member of America's National Honor Society for Public Affairs and Administration (Pi Alpha Alpha). Zhi Chen completed his undergraduate study at Peking University in China, where he studied public policy and regional economics at the school of government and statistical science at the school of mathematics. Zhi Chen's research interests center around public policy and economic analysis, with a special focus on welfare and environmental policies. He has interned with several national and international think tanks, such as the Development and Reform Commission in China and the Institute for Global Environmental Strategies in Japan.
