Wolfgang Saam

Wolfgang Saam was an intern with the Global Public Policy Institute, Berlin from September 2006 to February 2007 and assisted with GPPi's "Transatlantic Energy Security Dialogues" project. Wolfgang has been studying Political Science and Economics at the Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg. Supported by an Max-Kade scholarship, he studied during the academic year 2005/06 at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. In Winter 2007/08, he will graduate with a Diplom in Verwaltungswissenschaften (Public Administration) at the University of Potsdam.

His work experience includes internships with the World Youth Alliance Europe in Brussels as well as the Walter-Eucken-Institut in Freiburg. In 2005, he worked as an undergraduate student instructor at the Department of Banking and Finance, Freiburg. For the last five years, he has been an active member in the Verein zur Förderung Politischen Handelns,(Association for the Advancement of Political Action), a non-profit in which he runs trainings ranging from rhetoric to civic education for young people.
