Sarah Brockmeier

Sarah Brockmeier is an undergraduate student at Jacobs University, Bremen where she is pursuing her Bachelors degree in International Politics and History. In her studies she combines 20th century international history with political theory focusing on international organizations. Her interest in the United Nations in particular is expressed by her being an enthusiastic Model United Nations participant and heading the organization of a conference in 2008. For her studies, Sarah receives a scholarship from the German National Academic Foundation.

Her work experience includes an internship in a lawyer’s office and assisting with research and conference organization for a professor at her university. During her internship in January, Sarah contributed to GPPi’s work on the United Nations, Peacebuilding and Organizational Learning.
