Oliver Krentz

Oliver Krentz was an intern with the Global Public Policy Institute for the summer of 2009. He graduated in July 2009 with first class honours in political science from the University of Manchester and the National University of Singapore. Following his internship with GPPi, he will begin a Master’s degree in International Relations at the University of Cambridge.

His research interests include the development of international norms and the social nature of international relations. Before working at GPPi he was an intern at the German Institute for Global and Area Studies. Oliver also participates in Model United Nations conferences and was an executive member of the Manchester Model United Nation.

During his time at GPPi he contributed to the institute’s work on peacekeeping and UN operations as well as assist in the preparation of a seminar for the MPP programme at the Hertie School of Governance in Berlin.
