Libby Jenke

Libby Jenke was an intern with the Global Public Policy Institute, Berlin during the fall of 2008 as part of her fellowship with Humanity in Action, a five-month educational program in transatlantic human rights. She will complete an undergraduate degree in political science at Duke University in 2010, where her studies have focused in comparative politics and international relations. Currently, her research interests are in the area of human security.

During her time at Duke, Libby has been a research assistant for Professor Peter Feaver, a 2008 Wickersham Scholar at the Triangle Institute for Security Studies, as well as a member of the Gamma Theta Chapter for Pi Sigma Alpha, the national honor society in political science. She is also a member of the Duke chapter of International Justice Mission, a writer for the Chronicle (the independent newspaper at Duke), and a scholarship track and field athlete.
