Laura Peitz

Laura Peitz was an intern with the Global Public Policy Institute (GPPi) in Berlin from February-May 2011. She is currently pursuing a bachelor’s in politics and management from the University of Konstanz.

Laura’s research interests include policy implementation as well as international communication and collaboration, an issue that she learned about during a school year in the United States. She is involved in several voluntary projects concerned with intercultural competence and tolerance, particularly among adolescents.

After her internship with GPPi, Laura interned for the Deutscher Industrie- und Handelskammertag and then spend two trimesters at Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona. Her studies in Spain were supported by an ERASMUS scholarship.

She contributed to the GPPi research project Origins of Strategy for Justice and Security Sector Reform in Afghanistan and Pakistan.
