Joshua Tartakovsky

Joshua Tartakovsky was a summer intern with the Global Public Policy Institute, Berlin in July-August 2007. He supported GPPi's work on the United Nations' involvement in Peacebuilding and assisted with the 2007 Hertie Executive Seminar on partnerships in global governance.

He is an undergraduate student at Brown University in the United States where he is pursuing a B.A. in International Relations. Joshua also studied Modern History and Politics in Mansfield College, Oxford as a visiting student during the 2006-2007 academic year.  

Joshua interned at the headquarters of the OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina in Sarajevo, Bosnia in the summer of 2006 and for the Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs in the summer of 2005. Between 2000 and 2003, he served as a combat medic in the Israel Defense Forces. During his internship, he will support GPPi's research work on the United Nations' involvement in Peacebuilding.
