Jihae Kim

Jihae Kim was a summer intern with the Global Public Policy Institute, Berlin in Summer 2006. During her internship, she assisted with GPPi's study on corporate engagement in humanitarian assistance.

She completed her B.S. in International Politics Magna Cum Laude at Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service in May 2006 before receiving a Humanity in Action fellowship for the duration of the summer. While at Georgetown, she received a John Carroll Scholarship and spent a semester at Sciences Po in Paris.

Her work experience includes interning at the U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants as well as at the Institute for the Studies of International Migration in Washington, D.C. She has additionally interned at the Korean Embassy in D.C. Following her stay in Berlin, Jihae will be interning for La Chaîne de L'Espoir, a non-profit organization in Paris, starting in November 2006 before beginning law school at Georgetown Law in the fall of 2007. She is a Humanity in Action Fellow during her internship at GPPi.
