Friedhelm Tauber

Friedhelm Tauber was an intern with GPPi for the summer of 2010. He holds a BSc degree in International Business Administration and Asian Studies from Copenhagen Business School. He is currently pursuing a double MSc in International Affairs at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and Peking University (PKU).
During his undergraduate studies, Friedhelm spent a year at the Department of Economics at the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London, and a semester at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. His main research interests include development economics and international political economy, with a special focus on Asia and China. Friedhelm’s Bachelor thesis was a study on the internationalization of the Chinese financial service sector. His master thesis at PKU is concerned with private sector influences on Chinese foreign trade policy.
Prior to GPPi, Friedhelm worked in China, India and Russia. During his time with GPPi, Friedhelm supported the Rising Powers and Global Governance program.
