Frederic Kalinke

Frederic Kalinke was an intern with GPPi in July 2008, during which he worked on the project Changing Rules of the Game. Through his research at GPPi, Frederic contributed to a book chapter published by Brookings Press on the nexus between governmental and private elites within the political economy of hydrocarbons.
He graduated in 2010 with an MPhil in international relations from the University of Oxford, where he specialized in the political economy of India and the evolution of India's security culture vis-à-vis China. At university he was awarded a Ede and Ravenscroft Prize, a 2009 Alasdair Buchan Prize and a 2010 Polland Fund Award. Frederic also founded Wisdomap, mind-mapping software for education that helps individuals learn and organize information visually. He currently works for Google in Dublin.
