Christopher J. Murillo

Christopher J. Murillo was an intern with GPPi for the summer of 2010. He graduated from the University of Alaska Anchorage with a B.B.A. in Finance and a B.A. in Economics with a minor in Mathematics. Christopher is a first year graduate student at the Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy at the University of Michigan. His areas of interest include international politics, economic development, humanitarian relief, human rights, peace and democracy.

Prior to GPPi, Christopher worked for Peace Corps/Costa Rica as a Programming and Training Specialist in the Rural Community Development program. He was also a Peace Corps Volunteer in Mali, where he was assigned to a micro-finance institution and worked in developing small businesses. He also engaged in secondary projects such as youth development, women's literacy, and radio programming. After graduating, Christopher hopes to join an inter-governmental organization that aims to preserve peace and democracy through economic and social development.
