Ashley Webster

Ashley Webster was an intern with the Global Public Policy Institute, Berlin, for the fall of 2008. She is currently completing the Master of Public Policy degree at the Hertie School of Governance in Berlin. She is a dual degree student in International Affairs from Columbia University in New York. Having studied and worked in China, the Philippines, South Africa, Turkey, as well as recently completing an internship at the U.S. State Department in Washington, her research interests are in U.S. Foreign Policy implementation, global security governance, cultural diplomacy and economic policy. 

During her time at GPPi, Ashley contributed to the "Crisis and Change: The UN Secretariat and the Quest for Accountability " project.   
Ashley completed an undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan in 2007.
