Adam Alagiah

Adam Alagiah was an intern with GPPi for the spring of 2010. He graduated from the University of Oxford with a B.A. in Modern History and Politics. At Oxford he focused on African politics, international relations and imperial history, and his dissertation was a study of the democratisation process in Uganda and Tanzania. During his studies, Adam worked for local newspapers in Kampala, Uganda and Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, and for a local radio station in Nairobi, Kenya.

Prior to joining GPPi, Adam interned at the Information Centre for Asylum and Refugees, a London-based think tank focusing on asylum seekers and refugees in the UK, and worked at the head office of the British Red Cross, also in London. After completing his internship with GPPi, Adam will be pursuing postgraduate study.
